Arimus Dixon Fundraiser:  A Call to Action

Why Start a Fundraiser for Arimus?

Arimus Dixon fell victim to a fatal car accident on January 15, 2012, leaving behind his soon to be bride, Beatrice, their 4-month old son, Adonis, and six year old Malik, whom Arimus loved and treated as his own son.  It’s difficult to describe the empty feelings so many of us have dealt with since Arimus passed but we are working together to support his family during this inconceivable time.   We simply seek to return to his family a small portion of the love and generosity Arimus gave to us for the 32-years we shared with him during his lifetime.  Our short-term goal is to raise at least one year’s worth of much-needed childcare for Adonis.  Long-term, we dream of raising enough funds to put Malik and Adonis through college through The Arimus House, a nonprofit organization we created in Arimus’ name dedicated to underprivileged children in the Tampa area, a cause Arimus was exceedingly passionate about.

It’s no longer about talk – we’ve been called to step up and it’s time to take action.

It’s been almost six months and the challenges of being a single parent are especially overwhelming.  Therefore, we have decided to start a fundraiser for the family of Arimus Dixon.  We aim to take a little stress off Bea’s shoulders and let her know how blessed we were to have Arimus, and the type of man Arimus represents, in our lives for even a short period of time.

Please join us and make a difference in the lives of a family who’s father, husband, son and brother meant so much to so many people.  God Bless.
